Exercise is Medicine is a registered student organization of the University of Arkansas. RSOs “provide students the opportunity to form and develop organizations based on a common interest.”
This RSO is divided into teams, each responsible for different tasks, including a communication and promotion team, while the health team has worked with Pat Walker Health Center, and the event team organizes special events such as field days and obesity awareness. We have scaled down because of the the coronavirus pandemic, but find news and upcoming events on our blog!
We are also open to new ideas and activities that would help to promote physical activity on campus. Be sure to contact us.
Meet The RSO Team
Stephanie Cotairu— President
My name is Stephanie Cotariu, and I’m a sophomore studying exercise science and French. I’m originally from Colorado, and one of my favorite things to do is Taekwondo. Aside from that I love spending time with my people, exploring new things, and doing anything creative. I’m looking forward to encouraging our campus to get active and connecting with our razorbacks online!
Ian Hamilton — Secretary
I’m an MS Exercise Student, originally from Grapevine, TX. I plan to attend Chiropractic School after this degree. Hopefully doing functional neurology research, how performance optimization exercises and chiropractic care helps treat mental illnesses. My favorite activities are lifting weights or playing soccer.
